"Chef Jessica is AMAZING!!  She came to our home for the 3rd time yesterday, cooked all day, and then served us the most incredible meal before leaving. My husband and I woke this morning still savoring the sesame crusted black cod, the Asian ginger/peanut coleslaw, and the fried rice that she prepared for us.  We felt like we had celebrated our anniversary at a resort!  We have a 15 month old baby and find meal preparation quite difficult these days. Jessica plans the menu (or prepares what we ask her to), does the grocery shopping, prepares enough meals to feed us for 2 weeks, serves us a delicious meal, and leaves our kitchen spotless.  We cannot recommend her enough.  So glad we hired her!  She is a gem.  She goes above and beyond to please!"

​"I cannot express how ecstatic we were with the food itself and the presentation. The presentation was beyond words. We had a "buffet," but I have never seen a buffet look as plated, organized or elegant as this one. Very understated, but very organic to the setting, which is exactly what we wanted. The food was beyond fabulous. Chef Jessica outdid herself, and brought so many fresh, flavorful dishes to the party, we couldn't get enough. I absolutely loved that she presented a menu that highlighted current seasonal offerings. Supporting local farmers and food vendors is important to me, and she does this on her own ... so, I knew we were a good fit. Our guests continue to comment on how great the food was!​​"

"Chef Jessica made our wedding very special.  She was a pro from the first contact. She prepared appetizers and dinner that most of our  14 guests commented as being "exquisite."  We had guests who have traveled the world. The pictures on her web site were true representations of how she presented the food at our event. She provided reassurance to the nervous bride that everything would go fine and her services exceeded expectations.  I only hope we have  the opportunity to use her services and that of her staff again."

"Jessica of Salt of the Earth is the best private chef.  Our family rented a home in Pebble Beach to celebrate a milestone birthday.  Jessica was great in tailoring the menu and timing of the dinner to accommodate our party of 10. The food was delicious and fresh.  Starting with the oyster Rockefeller, lamb chop lollipops, and pizzettas.  The guests were excited to see what more was in store because they were all delicious.  The avocado Cesar salad was delish. The main entree of rib eyes and the sea bass was exceptional.  The roasted vegetables complimented the meal excellently.  The s'mores pot de creme was the perfect ending.  Her server Dane was great as well.  I will surely engage Jessica again the next time we are in town."

"To celebrate my 40th birthday, my husband and I decided that it would be a lot more fun to host a group of friends in our home instead of the usual restaurant meal... and Jess and her team made that vision come true!

Jess came to the house a few weeks before the event to get a feel for us, the house, what would work well and what wouldn't (and was honest about the latter), and to talk through our menu options.  Following our meeting, she was great about working with my husband to plan all the little details - table settings, flowers, the bar, you name it - which was really appreciated.

On the day of, she and her team showed up several hours in advance (we had Jess, a sous chef, a bartender, and server for a group of 14) to begin prep, set everything up, etc.  By the time our guests arrived everything was beautiful, in place, and organized, and we were ready to greet our guests.  The food was DELICIOUS, from appetizers through dessert, and her team was incredibly friendly and fun.

It was so special to me to be able to enjoy the celebration with friends and not have to worry about a single detail and how it was all working, and to top it off there was nothing for me to clean up when all was done!  All of our friends called the following day to say what a great night it had been, how fantastic the food was, and that they planned to steal the idea for themselves.   I can't say enough good things about Salt of the Earth Personal Chef, and hope that we have an opportunity to use them again in the future!"
